How it Works

1. SIGN-UP PROCESS

E-mail us at bluffbox@telus.net if you are interested in signing up and let us know:
  1. What size box you'd like: mini ($15), small ($25), OR large ($40)
  2. Pick-up frequency: weekly or biweekly
  3. Your preferred pick-up location: 
    • Langford OR Metchosin on Wednesdays (4-7 pm)
    • Fernwood on Thursdays (3:30-6:30 pm)
We’ll then send you an acknowledgement e-mail letting you know if we still have room or if we need to put you on the waiting list. 

2. DEPOSIT PAYMENT
 
If we still have room for you in the Bluff Box program, we will require the first month's payment in advance as a deposit to guarantee your participation: each weekly box costs $15 (mini box), $25 (small box) or $40 (family box) so you just multiply the weekly box cost by the number of Wednesdays/Thursdays in the month (example: $25 x 4 = $100). Cash or cheques payable to Sea Bluff Farm are accepted, and we can do the math if necessary.

We will notify you of the first date when you can pick up a box.

Going forward, you will prepay for Bluff Boxes on a monthly basis. This year, monthly pre-payments will be due on the last pick-up date of the previous month (eg. you prepay for July on the last pick-up Wednesday/Thursday or June). Again, cash or cheques payable to Sea Bluff Farm are acceptable.

3. BOX PICK-UP

Every Wednesday afternoon (Langford and Metchosin) and Thursday afternoon (Fernwood), Sea Bluff Farm delivers a set box of fresh produce to the pick-up location. Boxes contain a range of produce, which varies each week and according to the month. (See Sample Box Contents)

You load up your bags at the pick-up location between 4pm and 7pm (Langford and Metchosin) or between 3:30 and 6:30pm (Fernwood) and then enjoy just-picked, farm-fresh, organically grown produce all week long!
